Data Strategy & App Tracking
Our client, a leader of the Italian banking industry, turned to us to implement a tracking system on its app. The objective of the company was to analyze app performance and usage by developing a fully reliable and coherent tracking system across different european countries. To achieve this they needed a complete and reliable app tracking system, consistent amongst 6 different countries.
We translated the client’s requirements into a structured yet flexible implementation plan which allowed us to develop a tracking system across 6 different country app versions. To assure the reliablity of the tracking system we compared the data exported on BigQuery with backend data.
This process allowed stakeholders to:

Data Strategy & Measurement Plan
We translated business requirements into KPIs to be measured and we developed a technical documentation for tracking system requirements, including events to track and goals to set.
Tracking Implementation Support
We supported app developers during the implementation process in order to successfully develop all the tracking events we identified in the previous step.
Raw Data Export on BigQuery
We activated the export of Google Analytics 4 raw data in BigQuery to support more granular and in-depth analysis.
Testing and App Tracking Validation
We tested the tracking system and we validated the measurement of transactional and product activation data by matching our results with backend database extractions.
